From Sketch to Finished Product
At AERIS LIVING, we are a design-led studio that also makes. Every lamp, table and home object starts as an idea in our workshop and ends as a finished product you can live with — designed, engineered and made in India. Here's how a piece travels from sketch to finished product.
1. Design
It begins with an original design. We sketch and model our own forms, drawing on modern architecture, proportion and how a piece should feel in a real room. Nothing is bought in or rebadged — the design is ours from the first line.
2. Engineering
A beautiful shape still has to stand up, balance and be made well. We engineer each design for strength, stability and manufacturability, refining details until the object works as well as it looks.
3. Material
We choose the right material for the piece rather than forcing every product through one process. That might be powder-coated aluminium or steel for furniture, plant-based PLA for a sculptural shade, or a combination — selected for form, durability and finish.
4. Manufacturing
This is where our range of capabilities matters. Depending on the design, a piece is made using sheet-metal fabrication, precision 3D printing, or both. 3D printing is one of the tools we use to achieve a design — it supports our work, it doesn't define the brand.
5. Finishing
Finishing is where a product earns its premium feel: powder coating for a durable, even surface on metal, and careful hand-finishing and detailing across every piece. Each item is inspected before it moves on.
6. Product
Finally the piece is assembled, quality-checked and packed with care — a finished product, designed and made in India, ready for your home.
