In this piece we step back from any single product and look at the ideas behind all of them: the principles that make something recognisably AERIS, whatever it is and however it is made.
Design leads, always
Every product begins with how it should look, feel and function — never with the manufacturing method. We resolve the form first, then choose the process that serves it best. That order is the whole point. It is why our pieces feel considered rather than produced, and why the range holds together even though it spans lighting, furniture and home essentials.
Form you notice, function you rely on
A good AERIS piece earns its place twice: once by being genuinely useful, once by being worth looking at. We obsess over proportion, stance and detail — the taper of a leg, the rhythm of a woven shade, the softness of an edge — because those are the things that make an object feel right in a real room, long after the novelty has worn off.
Many materials, one studio
We work across 3D printing, sheet metal, fabrication, finishing and hand assembly — and most products draw on more than one. Printing brings intricate form and texture; metal brings strength and structure; powder coating and hand-finishing bring the premium, made-to-last surface. 3D printing is one of these tools, not our identity. The craft is in combining them so the result simply feels whole.
Designed in-house, made in India
Everything is designed under our own roof and made to order in India, finished by hand before it ships. That keeps us accountable for the entire product and lets us build to a standard rather than to a price.
The through-line
